From over a decade the "Town of Recanati music award" has always been attending to new trends of Italian and popular composer songs, no matter the music genre. To this aim the awards has dedicated a special music contest which this year, being the XIIth edition, involved more than 8000 composers and singers. the 16 finalists of the 2001 edition of "Recanati Award" are now gathered in this cd.
